The Irritation of Books Becoming Movies

The most irritating thing about books being turned into movies is THEY MESS EVERYTHING UP!!!!!!
In I AM NUMBER FOUR, the when John goes to find Sarah at Mark's party, she's just sitting on the roof and he uses his telekinesis to save her, but in the book John goes with Sarah to the party and his best friend, Sam goes too. The actual life saving John does is he saves Sarah and Mark James's dogs from burning to death.
It's a big fiasco.
