Oooh, "The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake" has THE title, now, doesn't it?! I'd have to read it just based on title alone. Now, having actually eaten lemon cake -- this past week a homemade coconut cake WITH lemon curd between the layers -- and being well acquainted with sadness, I possess two more reasons to read it.
